when everyone else was busy thinking the business world was going to end with the y2k bug, our managing director jeff thompson was preparing to launch the beginning of a national recruitment business that was to be as competitive as the larger national personnel companies but with a boutique focus.

jobwire was launched in april 2000 in sydney and melbourne with a team of 8. in the next 3 years jobwire wasted no time in seizing growth opportunities through organic expansion and acquisition. jobwire quickly opened a further 12 branches and now jobwire operates 14 branches around australia. a team of 60+ consultants manage thousands of temporary, casual and permanent employees and complete hundreds of permanent employment assignments each year.
